Please note that players are not allowed to bring or wear anything affiliated with a youth baseball organization. No Millers stickers on helmets, no Starters backpacks, no MASH hats -- no youth baseball team merch whatsoever.

Below are the necessary items to wear/bring to each round of tryouts:

Clothing

  • pants (baseball pants recommended)
  • baseball hat
  • cleats (rubber preferred but metal is fine)

Gear

  • baseball glove
  • batting gloves (optional)
  • batting helmet
  • baseball bat
    • bat guidelines:
      • Maximum diameter at the thickest part: 2 ¼", 2 ½”, 2 ⅝”  or 2 ¾”  with UNLIMITED weight differential and a USSSA or USA mark and meet Bat Performance Standards.
  • catchers gear (only if a player has experience as a catcher and their own gear)

If your player does not have access to any or all of the gear above, we have items they can borrow. 9U-11U players can reach out to Joe Wallace and 12U-14/15U players can reach out to Cap O'Rourke to coordinate borrowing gear during the player's tryout time. Please give us advance notice so that we can plan to have gear on-hand at the proper tryout location.
